Vintage ceramic vase, jug from 4077 series by German VEB Handelsleben made in 1960s. WGP - Western German Pottery. Height is 14 cm, Diameter is 11.5 cm. Excellent vintage condition.
It features an earthy color palette, blending warm brown, amber, beige, and muted green tones. The upper part, including the neck and handle, has a rich glossy brown glaze with subtle horizontal ridges, adding texture and depth. The lower body transitions into a matte speckled beige and gray finish, giving it a rustic, handcrafted feel.
A raised floral or sun-like motif decorates the front, with a textured central medallion in a golden-brown hue, surrounded by greenish-blue accents that add contrast and an organic touch.
The jug has a compact, rounded body that tapers slightly at the top, leading to a narrow ribbed neck and a gracefully curved handle that connects seamlessly to the form.
