Vintage full set of 6 liquor uranium glasses with beautiful hand engraved with leaves and branches. This type of engraving was used in designer's Ilmari Kumela series of liquor glasses. Presumably this set is also made by his design on Kumela glassworks. Made in green amber color of glass.

Why buy vintage uranium glass?
Uranium glass (also known as vaseline glass) glows with a bright green color under ultraviolet light. Its production actually involved uranium, which emits only very weak alpha radiation. This type of radiation travels only 10-20 cm and can be stopped by a sheet of paper.
Since the 1970s, uranium glass and crystal have no longer been produced and are now considered collectible items.
