Exceptiona vintage candle holder Tuikku (which means Small Light or Candlestick in Finnish) designed by Nanny Still. Stylish Midcentury glass piece composed of two parts: a stable base and a glass dome with an opening at the top, which fits seamlessly into the base.

Made by Riihimäki glassworks in late 1960s. The number of an art form is 2158. Height is 25 cm. Complete set. The plastic holder for the upper part of the candlestick and the candle has been preserved, as well as the metal base for the holder. See the last photo. Excellent vintage condition.

She was a Scandinavian designer who worked for the flagship design factories, Riihimäki in Finland and Rosenthal in Germany. She received the highest honor of Finland, the Pro Finlandia medal, and was recognized with a prestigious award at the Milano Triennale.

Her works can be seen in museums across Scandinavia, such as the Finnish Glass Museum, as well as in continental Europe
