Trio of vintage dessert bowls from iconic Midcentury I-series by renowned Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva.

Sarpaneva created numerous glass series that became world classics. In 1956 and 1957, he received the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale and many other prestigious international design awards. He was honored with Finland's highest award, the Order of the Lion of Finland. He served as a professor and honorary professor at the Royal College of Art in London and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki.

1956 - 1967. Iittala glassworks. Excellent vintage condition. They are mentioned as an I-series in Iittala production catalog. Dimensions: Diameter is 10 cm, Height is 5 cm. 

Iittala glassworks founded in 1881 in Finland. It became renowned in the Midcentury era for its innovative design and Modernist style.
