Vintage glass vase Kanerva (Finnish for Heather) by renowned Scandinavian designer Björn Weckström.
Crafted using Murano techniques with metal (copper, silver or even gold) sublimation in the glass. Sublimation is the process where a substance transitions from a solid to a gas state. In the realm of art glass, only the most exceptional masters possessed this technique.
Manufactured by Nuutajärvi glassworks, 1980s. Excellent vintage condition. Height is 17 cm.
