Vintage glass plates, set of 5. Dessert azure blue glass plates presumably from one of the most iconic Minimalist design series Bölgeblick by Aino Aalto. At least they were made in style of Aalto plates, and they are vintage.
The series Bölgeblick (Swedish for Wave glance) marked the beginning of contemporary tableware design. Created by one of the first female designers, Aino Aalto, for the Karhula glassworks in Finland, production began in 1932.
1950s - 1960s. Diameter 15.5 cm. While Bölgeblick dessert plates often are 14-15 cm in Diameter. Excellent vintage condition.
